About thirty years ago, Dutch born musician John Zielman arrived in Sydney to play a run of booked gigs; a run that ended up becoming a long musical adventure in Australia.
After years of playing every type of gig, just about everywhere around Oz, he decided time had come to move on. Music had taken him Down Under and now was calling him back home. Armed with a great bunch of songs and a head full of ideas, he packed up all he needed, sold everything but his soul and headed for Europe.
Back in Holland, he formed a band called the Selves with some old friends and friends of friends, and together with this bunch the goal is inspiring people across the land and beyond.
Listening means you’ll be singing his tunes before you even realize you’re doing it. Why? Because they are songs about you and me. And because John loves what he does, you will too.
