A day in a life…..

G’day Blogheads.

I must tell you it is just amazing to know that you can just ramble on and some one out there can just tune in on that, well some one, just anyone and all of us in ‘netland’ or ‘blogland’or what ever you want to call it that is…

I’ve had the most beautiful time on the weekend. I spend Friday, and Saturday in Downtown Amsterdam, and having lived in Sydney for about 24 years or so, and now living in the stickz, ‘the bush’ as it were, ‘the lowlands of Bonnabokky’, in other words NOT!!!! AT ALL !!! living in, or nearby the ‘big smoke’, being in the city was like being home again.

Don’t get me wrong I love being back in Holland but do miss being connected, or feeling the connection with the world. And Sydney has always had that feeling for me anyway, being part of the world with just about everyone living in it from anywhere in the world. So I’m sure you aren’t surprised that this man really loved being in Amsterdam and having missed that kind of feeling that anything is possible.

Very creative stuff goes on there and that’s not talking about the street theatre or the coffeeshops or the girls in the shopwindows or the “soccer hoolies from across the channel ” hanging out the bars with only one thing on their minds,…drinking buckets of beer the size of Sydney Harbour, looking after their mates having fallen asleep while trying to keep up with their mates drinking skooners the size of Sydney Harbour, and f****g them selves mindless all nite spending their money and believing that their team will eventually win the cup, so we can piss on even more being back home.

It was wonderful to be amongst all of that sitting in the sun enjoying a beer myself sniffing up the good smoke, being in the big smoke and watching the people go by as if it was the most normal thing to be in a place where the circus was not the attraction but the audience had taken, or has taken, or iz in place of the all and amazing entertainers you’ll find in a place like that. This is what I call real life ‘drama/enterainment’ what ever you get out of it.

But what I found most creative and entertaining, was that when I was leaving my little kinda not so cheap hotel afterall, in a nearby not too far away from the centre kinda close to everything being able to leave the car and being able to ‘tram’ it or ‘bus’ it or grab a ‘cab it’, when paying for our wonderful stay in our geddaway near ‘a’ park, for some reason, none of our creditcards worked, and could we pay some other way. Ofcourse I did. I understand. I’m a artist my selve. Haha. I understand creativeness. Whether you make music or make up a bill, it’s all to do how you hum a tune into someone’s ear.

All in all it was just ‘fab’ to soak up all that, and if you are into cheezfondue go and eat at this great little pub Café Bern where they serve the best fondue in the world I reckon , and when you order the garlick salade to go with it, look out!!! it is just orgasm pluz. You can tell your girlfriend to leave her electric man hidden anywhere under what ever, and for the men, you have not tasted anything like it before. Am I being too rude ? I think not.

I just had a fantastic experience.
I suggest you do the same.
Every second counts.
As they say, ‘ you can be a long time dead’
Live everyday as if it were your last, and you know, one day it’ll come true.
It was just great !!
Loveyouz.
Till soon.
JZ
