Isn’t it just great to be able to make music again? Having my Mac Book back and taking this baby everywhere I go.
Living in a villa with eight bedrooms upstairs a couple of big rooms downstairs and a huge back yard that stretches far beyond one’s imagination. It does at times give me this ” rock star ” feeling. But then images of Spinal Tap brings me right back to reality with the sobering thoughts that one day I would have to move again.
But for now it is just wonderful to hang out there specially now summer is only just around my beautifully overgrown driveway.
Every time I motor up my drive way I get this “green finger” feeling. Strangely enough by the time I get out of my car I feel the gardener in me quickly vanish like a thief in the night. Aah, but listen to the birds will ya. Who knows maybe I’ll come back as a bird next life.
We even bought a bird book. When we wake up or have breakfast looking out into the garden with all the magnificent trees, all kinds of birds fly past we’d go,” look there’s a such and such”, or “isn’t that a whatcha ma call it? “.
At least now we know what kind of flying object did a whoopsy on our garden furniture.
Even the weatherman is on our side this week. The nation’s nearly in an uproar about the ” summer” we’re going to have this coming Thursday. And who knows, it might even last till the next day or even worse! By then you’ll have almost everyone complaining how hot it is and that the change came too quickly.
Couldn’t care less!
Bring it on, bring it on now!
I don’t care, I’ll sit upstairs in one of the eight rooms turned studio, and I’ll sweat it out in my surf pants, bare feet, singlet, cold beer in the fridge for after. I don’t mind a bit of summer on Thursday.
Wouldn’t it be great to know for sure just like the weekend that’s always around the end of the week we’re all looking forward to every week, to know that in that week there’s also one day allocated for a a summers sunny shiny day?
Just imagine, at least one day in your week you’d have one day of sunshine.
Guaranteed till Christmas that would give us at least around fifty days of sunshine per year!
I’m all for it……….dreaming I guess!………..better bring my jumper!
I’ll have that beer now thank you!
